Both SU INTs against USC were McKee's fault - MV72018 - 09-13-2022

The pass on the third play of the game, from the SU 39, was way over the head of Yurosek, the intended receiver, which led to the tip by Miller Moss and interception and return by Max Williams.

The alleyoop in the endzone was underthrown to 6'3" Elijah Higgins, hence the tip and INT by 6'0" defender Mekhi Blackmon. One would have thought that they'd have the high-arching nature of that throw down by now.

It's hard to avoid concluding that Tanner McKee is not a particularly accurate passer. While he completed 20 of 35, it doesn't look likely to me that he will routinely complete about two-thirds of his passes as a number of top SU qbs of the past did.

Alternate conclusion: not his best game.

To me that "alternate conclusion" is axiomatic.

According to ESPN his career completion percentage is 65%, and higher each season.

That does in fact seem like the a player who will complete about 2/3 of his passes.

For Stanford's sake, I hope you are right. Didn't seem likely based on what I saw Saturday. Good find on the stats!

Look on the bright side. He looked a lot better than Trey Lance did . . . .

I believe Murky is right. He will likely be picked in the first round or top of the second. Big arm, good touch, can make all the throws, smart, and elusive enuf to not be a statue. Hope I'm right.
PS: Miller Moss is a reserve QB for SC that some here hoped would choose Stanford. Can't remember if he was offered late, or not at all. 4 point student and I think his mother may have matriculated on the Farm.
