If there was an update last month, I missed it. But Blake's company is not what it had seemed.

Before Whatnot's announcement of the ban, Martinez said on a live stream that he understood the optics of the allegations that had come out about him on Reddit and said he knows "the type of business I run." In the stream, he said he acknowledged there would be a staffing change made, but did not explain what happened.

Somewhat interestingly, Whatnot's GM quoted in the story appears to be Craig Jones who played linebacker with Blake at Stanford.
