Not the best if the Block S football game tickets are being advertised right now (I don't think I've ever seen an email from them about specific games until now?).

Sac State tickets are sold out through the school. I had to get mine through Stanford website, which shows sections 129-131 filling up nicely…

as with all non-conference, non-power 5 games I would image the actual attendance will be pretty low. Right now it looks like 2 of the 14 people in our group will be attending (all 14 are season ticket buyers). Looking at StubHub there are plenty of seats in our section (134) starting as low as $16/seat
anyone who's really interested can also see the unsold ticket inventory from the ticket office here

FWIW, somebody predicted Stanford would announce ticket sales of approximately 27,000 and there would be about 8,000 actually in the stands.
I'm guessing there would be more people in the stands if the game was held at Sac State.

Where would you advise away fans park and tailgate? A few of us have the general $25 parking pass…
Half of Sacramento is coming to say hi to Troy Taylor.

Kadeezy - I hope that everyone coming from Sacramento has a good (but not great) time! Are you familiar with the campus at all? None of the general parking lots are far from the stadium and all should be good locations for tailgating.
Here is a map. Some people might favor lot 4 for its proximity to restrooms. But lots 8 and 9 might have more room for throwing a football around. Lots 8 and 9 also have 2 entry points so you might get in and out faster.

The AD is offering additional free tickets to season ticket holders and there are other free/low-cost promotions for tickets.

you can also park for free on most of campus on Saturdays, lots of the free parking is a short walk from the stadium

Exactly what I was looking for! Nope, first time for me - wife had a recruiting visit there about 20 years ago. That’s the extent of our experience. I’d love great, but will settle for good!

If you are a season ticket holder I think this game would be preferable to the butt kicking we may experience by teams like Washington and Oregon.

Good point! This game has the potential to be more enjoyable than several of our remaining games.

It also has the potential to be as deflating as most of our remaining games.

I got an email yesterday (and a phone call this morning) offering me the chance to be recognized at the Sac State game as Buck/Cardinal Club donor of the game.
I turned it down partly because I'm not even sure I'm going to show up at the game.
I'm NOT a large donor, so I assume this was a random drawing.
