we've had posts about Stanford affiliates going to the Paris Olympics but I think we should have a complete list of participants in one place, here's a start at that list, let me know about errors or omissions and I'll update the list. I'm a proponent of a very broad list of Stanford affiliates.

Morgan Hentz was at least an unofficial alternate in WVB but I didn’t yet see if she was chosen as the official alternate.
Re artistic swimming, I expected Stanford to be strong but the pages I saw didn’t say much about NCAA experience or signing

Sadly, Morgan Hentz was not selected as the Team USA W VB alternate chosen to make the trek to Paris. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the team instead added another setter.

Kiraly had talked about taking 5 extra players (including Hentz) for practice, but then I see that number is down to one unofficial extra player (12 official players, 1 official alternate, 1 extra, for 14 total allowing 7 vs 7 practice).
I didn't find who the unofficial extra player will be. So Hentz may still be going to Paris with the team, but won't be an Olympian.
