So let me understand this. Stanford was ahead of Washington in the CFP rankings before the championship game. We lose, they jump us and go to a NY6 game. Somethings not quite right.

I like Stanford playing a Big 12 team. I know those who go are not happy with the destination

Gonna be a home game for TCU, lemme tell y'all....

U$C-Ohio State
Washington-Penn State
Stanford-TCU
Washington State-Michigan State

For the Pac, several juicy match-ups that should actually get some eyeballs nationally. That definitely hasn't happened every year. The system works?!?

Pac should win at least 3 of those 4.

Don't quit your day job, Yvonne.

Although I wonder if the Boilermaker defense will allow Khalil Tate free range.

Stanford page says kickoff is 3pm PT. (But the graphic from the Football Team on Facebook says 8pm CST which is 6pm PST)... ???

For a school-record ninth consecutive season, Stanford will play in a postseason football bowl game.

The Cardinal (9-4) will face TCU (10-3) in the Valero Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28 in San Antonio, Texas. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. (PT), and ESPN will broadcast the game nationally.

Pac 12 is well represented.  Some very good bowl games here:

Fiesta Bowl, Penn State vs. Washington
Cotton Bowl, Ohio State vs. USC
Alamo Bowl, Stanford vs. TCU
Holiday Bowl, Michigan State vs. Washington State
Cactus Bowl, Kansas State vs. UCLA
Sun Bowl, Arizona State vs. NC State
Foster Farms Bowl, Arizona vs. Perdue
Heart of Dallas Bowl, Utah vs. West Virginia
Las Vegas Bowl, Boise State vs. Oregon

Four of the nine bowls (Cotton, Sun, Alamo, Heart of Dallas) are in Texas, two in Arizona, three in California.

Alamo is nowhere as convenient for Alums, a lot in SoCal, as San Diego.
But Texas is REAL important for recruiting... Pass out tickets to 4* H.S. studs.
Look at recruits we bagged from Texas:  A kid named Andrew Luck (Houston)
Solly Thomas (All Pac12 DT, 1st R NFL), Kaden Smith (TE), T.Speights at RB.

Oh god, that might be the most lopsided bowl game this year. Of course that means SDSU will sleepwalk in and Army will win.

Since the Cotton Bowl in Dallas features the Big10 and Pac12 champs, it should change its name to the "Yellow Rose of Texas Bowl".
