Stanford gets through second set. Tufuga actually looked really good on some hits although out of position sometimes on blocking assignments. It takes time and practice for an MB to figure out what the opposing setter is doing.

I wasn't able to attend or watch today.
I may just have to ignore paloalto's posts if that's how he/she reports 25-8 and 25-14 sets.
Wow, 8 aces by one player with only 1 ace by another. What was Kipp doing differently than the rest of the team?
More aces than service errors for the team.
And Rubin with 17 kills and 15 digs.
I would have expected Stanford to feed Tufuga the ball a lot, considering the lopsided match, to give her a lot of practice, but it seems that wasn't the case.

Wasn't able to watch, but stats indicate that BAIRD struggles offensively
for second match in a row.
But insane stat lines for KIPP and RUBIN!
KIPP 20-3-40 .425 with 8 SAs!
RUBIN 17-1-27 .593 with 15 digs!
#7 WSU wins at #6 Oregon, 3-1,
setting up a much-anticipated showdown
with visiting Stanford next Sunday.
But without FRANCIS, it's a no-brainer....

With any luck, I’ll have the game posted on Youtube by 6 pm 10/1. It takes YT a while to process the video, so be patient. Channel is @TonyLimaCollegeSports (should have made it Stanford sports. Too late now.)

My small contribution to Stanford sports. You’re welcome. The upload should start in about 10 minutes.

Please ignore my posts. If there is some way for you to block my posts so you can't see them, that would even be better.
You took my comments out of context. Here is additional info quoted from my posts
"Stanford managed to get through set one without Francis. Rubin in a zone..."
"Stanford gets through second set. Tufuga actually looked really good on some hits..."
I was simply emphasizing the point Stanford was winning without Francis in the lineup.

Recruits hear Cawa Yu Mullin and unknown.
Guessing Parks
Please report if you find out whether it was Parks or not. Having Parks still considering Stanford after realignment would be big. Having a nationally elite setter coming to Stanford would be a selling feature to pin players.
I don't know if Abigail Mullen has Stanford near the top of her list. But thinking about it, her primary position has been OPP. As far as I know Stanford has no other OPP recruits for 2024 or 2025. Mullen would almost certainly be a starter from day one at Stanford.

I believe ACC is getting more competitive as a conference in WVB.

I took a few low-res photos of the recruits with my phone. Looking at pics of Logan Parks online, I do think that was her.
Edit: Or maybe it was Sidney Duncan, 2024 recruit? She posted photos on IG.

The Parks or Duncan person. Well she was an inch or so shorter than Mullen.
Plus we have 3 2025 commits and one is a setter
Thus parks I believe
The real recruits this weekend

I guess you can see the Instagram photos if you follow the player and she approves you as a follower. I didn't try that.

Stanford stays #3 in today's AVCA poll. Three PAC-12 teams in the top 5. IMO they deserve to be there at this point in time.
Anyone know a projected return date for Francis?
