In the past month someone must have noticed if Blyashov was participating in pre-game warmup drills (i.e. hitting line, pepper, etc.) or sitting out the warmup at home games.
Here's what I have a hard time accepting. Blyashov in her senior year was the star player on her high school team and her club team, both of which won national championships. Her high school team went 42-0. She was the team captain of her club team for four years. She was MaxPreps Player of the Year.
And you can't find a minute or two of playing time for her in the last half of the season? I hope she doesn't have a Betts-like outlook about playing time.
While I agree with you that Harvey and Blyashov could have played more in certain matches, I think both young ladies came to Stanford knowing that playing time will be very minimal in their freshman year. Harvey will start next season ant the RS and Blyashov and Kurt mwill compete for OH2. My money is on Blyashov starting as the 2nd OH. Stanford women’s volleyball team is top notch and there are top players who still value the great education that Stanford offers. Blyashov is one of them. She knows her playing time is coming.
Good comment. I agree Blyashov starts next year and IMO has the potential to be better in back row defense than Baird by the end of the year.
Selection show at 3:00 pm PT on ESPN.

Ehman twitter comment:
"Two notes: KPI is a new metric used this season, and I have 0 clue if they're weighing it more/less/the same as RPI. & on RPI, normally you have to be within ~55 to even have a chance of making it. Last season the lowest teams to make it were Tennessee at 56 & Ball State at 51."
Ehman predicts five PAC-12 teams in tournament: Stanford, Oregon, WSU, ASU, and USC.
Predicts four B1G teams in tournament. And Ehman is a Northwestern graduate so biased toward the B1G.

USC in the Pitt bracket the 8 seed
Also Washington State the 4 seed

Thanks for the summary! I went right out grocery shopping after the WBB game and forgot to DVR the WVB selection show.

Wisconsin has the toughest regional bracket. They may have to face Penn State and Purdue. I'm pretty happy with Stanford's bracket.

Lawrence is not the middle of nowhere. Manhattan (home of K State) has a lock on that title. Yes, I’ve visited both. Ask me about Herington.
Edit: original post seems to have been deleted. Or my client is screwed up.

I deleted my post. Upon reflection I decided others might not find as much humor as I did in the tweet about Penn State playing Yale in Lawrence.

(I only can and only try to capture the free streams.) Just something odd about the way the stream looks with the commercial inserted in front. I'll figure it out if I am able to give it enough time. I'm a computer professional, but video streaming is a new area to me.
I think screen capture would work for me (I've tried it briefly), but capturing directly is theoretically best to keep the original resolution and frame rate. The video looks great on my captures -- and the audio too when it's there.
Please keep us updated on your progress.
I studied some more documentation and did some experiments, and I've learned more. I don't have a confirmed way yet of making sure that audio doesn't drop out after the inserted commercial, but I have a couple of possible workarounds that look promising. It's hard to debug this issue because it only occurs on active livestreams where Pac-12 chooses to insert a commercial, and they don't always insert one. So I can only experiment during livestreams, and sometimes not even then. While I was experimenting today, I managed to capture almost all of the Utah match. It has sound, but it seems like that's because I got lucky and Pac-12 didn't insert the commercial.
Edit: After thinking I'd only captured most of the match, I discovered I could actually reach back in time and download the early part of the stream that I had missed. So I've fixed my copy to be complete and am re-uploading to YouTube.
It will be here when YouTube is finished processing it. As usual, a lo-res version will appear first, so if you get that, wait for the hi-res version.

Please fill us amateurs in on how you did this. Willing to move this discussion somewhere else. I have many Wordpress blogs and would happily install BB plugins to set this up.
Right now it's complicated and messy for a couple of reasons. You're right that this thread isn't the best place to discuss it.
I've started a thread in Private Discussion: https://thecardboard.org/board/forumdisplay.php?fid=7 -- for what it's worth.
