In October, the NFL sent a memo to teams following a weekend of play that included pregame scuffles between the 49ers and Cleveland Browns and between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers. The league told teams in that memo that they “are responsible for the conduct of their players and other club personnel throughout the game day period” and could be “subject to a forfeiture of draft selections and/or significant fine” for violations.

If the Eagles proactively disciplined DiSandro, they could make it sting less than if they forced the NFL's hand.
