Yeah, let's head back to the Bay Area and ger ready for the butt kicking by SMU next weekend.
This is a depressing season.

I'll have to admit I didn't think it was going to be quite this bad.
I predicted 42-12. Never thought 42 would be too low. Looks bad right now.

A sad scene in South Bend.
I see that Ash has completed only 8 passes today through Q3. What's up with that? Too much of a ND pass rush?

Trojans missed, so PNST will play for the FG to win, and escape SoCal.
"Fight on" not enough.
A little schadenfreude never hurts in situations like this.

So, after SMU, we get WAKE in PA and move on to 3-5.
-- Wake's Defensive Secondary got shredded by CLEM; they are bad -- slow.
Then we get @NCST and host LOUV. Likely 3-7.
Closing out @ CAL, and @ SJST, so we stay in the Bay Area for the last two games.
Is this ANOTHER 3-9 season? I doubt we are favored in any remaining game.

I understand Myles Jackson may not be ready or Elijah Brown might still be injured but feels like we can’t continue going forward with Daniels and Lamson. Lack of QB play is killing us at this point and will soon take down the remaining semblance of our team.

My guess is we throw Daniels to the wolves one final time vs. SMU and Brown either gets garbage time there - if healthy enough - or takes over starting against (a very winnable) Wake Forest.I have no insight at all into team health. I do very much want to see what Brown brings to the table. As I understand it we had a "new" center and a new guard playing today. The pass blocking deteriorated supposedly as a result. I am not sure we can tell much about Brown with the quality of pass blocking we had against ND. Wake Forest will presumably have a much weaker pass rush, but if Brown has very anemic pass blocking he may not be able to "do his thing". OTOH if that is all we can provide, maybe better for him to learn to deal with it ASAP. Of course, the underlying risk is that he decides that next year it will not be much better and remaining at Stanford will not be a viable option for him. No way around that risk I'm afraid.
