Agree they were very good. It seems like maybe the host school determines the announcers? Because we see games with students all the way to games with experienced pros and everything in between in the minor sports. Anybody know the rules in the ACC?

Sayer is so much fun to watch. She always makes herself available to hit, giving Parks or Yu another option instead of heavily relying on the OHs. Quite elite for a freshman.
Parks was ok/better. Her quick sets whether it’s the 1 or the 2 are good. Her bump set needs work. She sometimes struggles with her slide sets. They sometimes are too low or they drift or too tight. When she figures out her slide sets, Sayer and Andrew will become unstoppable. They are already fantastic hitting slide sets. So exciting to have two great MBs.
Blyashov was good. I like that she is getting more playing time. The talent is there, she just needs repetition especially with her passing and defense. She needs to learn to hit the ball at a higher contact when the ball is set a little tight, unless the block is ill formed.
Rubin was Rubin. No hitting errors and finished she finished the match with .417 hitting percentage. Though she shanked a couple passes, unRubin like haha.
Blocking was fantastic. Great game overall. I’m glad the early playing time was not a factor.

Stanford, Pitt, and UNC are now tied for first in the ACC at 9-1.
The next three weeks will really reshape, or at least fully define, the pecking order in conference. UNC plays us, SMU, and Pitt. And of course us against UNC, Pitt, and SMU. I think we will see a pretty didn't order after that. Hopefully the home court advantage will help us, and we can still be floating at the top in a few weeks.

Also still alternating the OH so no Blyshov tonight (going with Kurt) and Parks still setting... Have we learned nothing the past month? I don't care who we are playing. These games matter in building momentum and chemistry for the postseason.
