On it's face, this seems a lot like what Stanford is doing. The thing that stands out though is that UDFG hosted 8 DBs and 5 WRs who all hold offers. UDFG isn't exactly tearing up the recruiting trail, but it did already have 1 DB and 1 WR on board. Given the limitations on class size, this strikes me as more of a hard sell tactic than Stanford uses.
