My take includes the caveat that the academics of each player reach the admissible standard.
Yes on Rand.
Yes on Schaffer.
Kemp wants to play the stand-up OLB role instead of a DE role with a hand on the ground. The knock is he doesn't have the athleticism for a OLB and perhaps lacks the toughness of a DL. Tweener; I do not see us extending an offer. He is Michigan or ND bound.
Yes on Stewart.
Yes on Robertson.
We may be the best option for Crawford. Oregon's WR board is full.
Burton's dad loves Stanford. Does Brandon? Safety is more likely but two-way is a possibility.
I have heard we want 2 more tackles in this class.
Yes on Hattis.
Dickerson is too new an offer an offer, so there is no read yet on whether we can make up ground and build a relationship. His hudl tape is full of run blocking where he just decimates opponents, but I didn't see one pass blocking situation. It might be the reason he is considered an OG at the next level instead of an OT even though he has the length to be an OT. Perhaps the concern is that he doesn't have the flexibility for OT from some scouts?
Farniok sounds like he wants to remain in the Midwest but we'll see.
Plan B TBD.
Ulloa probably finds the depth chart at ND more favorable than Stanford. Perhaps he really enjoyed the Junior day this weekend. This will be a battle with the Irish.
Okeke is in a similar situation as Ulloa. Strong academics here.
No on Fuller.
Pryts is a legacy Penn State kid. Distance an issue here. Do not see this happening.
Brandon Burton looks like the best possibility to fill safety position.
No on Simms.
McCulloch has strong academics, but doesn't seem interested in leaving region. Maybe with a strong push and an OV.
I have no information on Jones.
Speights was expected to commit to aTm after his visit a few weeks ago, but he didn't. Instead he said he would commit after the season and no longer plans to enroll early. Both are very Stanford favorable moves. He also tweeted his official offer letter from Stanford a couple of days ago.
No info on Stephens.
