(Partially repeated from another thread where I mistakenly posted this...
To answer TrumpCard's question at the bottom of page 70, I am not 100% sure but think he is right: Highly-sought but academically borderline recruits do not get negative news in August. In some other sports, yes, as there are fewer spots (like tennis, soccer) and if a more highly sought recruit is admitted and accepts then the next ones in line get the news and move on. But in football, most 4 and 5 stars on the border academically can earn credibility with admissions by either achieving good grades in tough classes (AP or Honors) in Autumn quarter/semester or improving their ACT or SAT's. Here's to many of them doing the work and getting admitted this year, it could be a 2012-like year!!
