I think we are going to be pleasantly surprised by the end result with this recruiting class. The class clearly is going to be very good, but there is upside that I think most are dismissing. The hope seems to be that Stanford can somehow get one of the elite receivers on the board, but Stanford has a legitimate shot at landing more than one. Robertson consistently tells reporters that Stanford is on top. I don't think he would do that if admission is an insurmountable problem. Burton is doing the ap work too. Why bother if he's not serious about Stanford. And then the real key is going to be the offensive performance on the field. Shaw is opening up the offense and showing high school WRs that there's a significant role for them. If you add those two guys to the current commits, this becomes a guaranteed top 10 class, more like top 7 most likely.
