Arguing over words is a long, l-o-n-g standing Cardboard tradition.  I generally just scroll over them and get on with it.  Unless I have a dog in that fight, which I seldom do.  To put yourself in a more receptive frame of mind, try this:  Niggling arguments over grammar are a kind of message board indicator species.  When things are going well with the team,  arguments/discussions of this type flourish.  When things go sour on the field, the bitching, moaning and snarling increase at the expense of the trivial or peripheral concerns.  Trivial arguments over grammar and the like are a good thing based on how our season is going so far.  That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it.
