Not even 10 years ago, Stanford's safeties included the likes of Taylor Skaufel, Tyler Porras, Austin Yancy, and Bo McNally. All of them were 2-star recruits, though McNally did distinguish himself far beyond his recruiting profile. We're in rarefied air here, people. Ulloa isn't a five-star recruit, but he's a heck of a player, probably in the top 30 or so safeties in the country. If he works hard and adds some bulk to his frame, he has a chance to be really good. I could see him developing similarly to a Jordan Richards, if all goes well. Although he might ideally want playing time right away, I think it will help him to have Reid and Edwards in the class in front of him to give him good mentorship and time to develop.
