Kaufusi may end up surprising some people.  He's got as low a profile as almost any recruit we've seen, and that may have suppressed some of the usual recruiting hype.  He lives in a state with less media coverage of recruiting, did not attend any football camps, and barely uses twitter at all.  Also, the maxprep stats appear to be wrong.  The Desert News article indicates that he has 3x the tackles and 6x the sacks shown on his maxpreps profile.  Also, remember that the Kaufusi family has close to a dozen former D1 football players, so the genes are definitely there.  I'm not saying he's a 4-star recruit, but the ratings we see online probably don't do him justice, and he probably has a good amount of upside.
