"We're just kind of talking about me staying healthy, making sure I continue to do great in school. Make sure I'm ready for the 2016 season at Stanford."

Obviously, admissions is always contingent on maintaining grades, but this doesn't strike me as a quote from someone who was about to blow off his senior year in college.  All the more so because the admission news was delivered in mid-December, so he spent most of his seventh semester not knowing he got in.  If he had been borderline, we would have waited for his seventh semester grades before admitting.  So, either he majorly blew something off in the last couple weeks of the semester, or was in major trouble before, or something else.
