David Shaw, with a 100% graduation rate and 3 Pac-12 championships in 4 years, should get some benefit of the doubt on the guys to whom he wants to offer a scholarship, when it comes to admissions.  .

I suppose one could also say that Stanford admissions, having admitted classes that have achieved both a 100% graduation rate and won 3 Pac-12 championships in 4 years, should get some benefit of the doubt in evaluating their decisions.

... and we have no idea if admissions and Shaw are at odds over this or not.
