The number of Stanford admits who do not end up committing to Stanford can be counted on one's hands this decade (Jordan Zumwalt, Brennan Scarlett, Jameis Winston, Durham Smythe, Uriah Leiataua, ?). With that in mind, this is what I see from interviews and social media.

Eboh - Stanford flip. The response from current commits when he announced his admittance was like those of long time friends. I suspect he has been part of the group chat they have formed for a long time. Agree with TrumpCard that coming to our Big Visit weekend instead of Texas' weekend screams flip.

He is looking for stability and the in-state programs are not delivering on that front; "it is not going as planned". Alabama is stable with Saban at the helm and has an elite football program but academics is extremely important to him. The end of the interview is very telling.

Considering the top10 recruit status, one would think those who provide us Stanford specific recruiting information would have written at least one article that follow-up on his progress with Stanford in recent months.
