I found this quote fascinating:
I am impressed that Graham Shuler's story (I assume that is the reference there) and decision to pass up his fifth year resonated with a recruit. At first blush you might see it as a negative that a potential returning starter would leave the program and retire from football for non-medical reasons, but I am guessing that the good bye letter and whatever Shuler is doing post-graduation has impressed Powell.
