As an Eagle Scout in high school I never mentioned it because it was ridiculed. During my Soph year I was selected for a special Eagle society and I mentioned my reluctance. Most of the others were shocked. Seems where they went to school Eagle rank was respected. I guess it's where you are and when, and how badly you want to fit in.
