It's awesome see how well she's doing. I bought her new album and it's fantastic. In addition to Giver, High Enough and Blood in the Cut are both great tracks. Mean It also has a very Lana Lane feel to it. K. Flay's new album is closer in sound to Lykke Li than anyone else, which is interesting given that they have very different musical influences/origins.
Just saw she's coming to town. Unfortunately she's the opening opening act. K. Flay - Grouplove - Imagine Dragons, which is backwards in my interest. I once made the mistake of of going to show for the opening act (The Bravery opening for Depeche Mode). I will never do that again. Sparse crowd with even fewer people who care. Hopefully she will be back on her own.
