Seems to me that "die-hard fans" is a misnomer for people who don't go to games [or turn them off] just because they don't like the way their team is playing [even when the team is nationally-ranked and leading the Conference].  Stanford seems to have a lot of those types of "die hard fans," though.  I always thought "die-hard fans" are the ones who go to games even when the team is 1-11?

By the way, any "die hard fan" who is looking to give away his/her N.otre Dame ticket because he/she doesn't want to watch this team, please let me know.  I need an extra ticket for that game.
