The fact that this is a young team makes me suspect that they will bounce back from these losses and show great improvement next weekend.  For example, they undoubtedly got an earful about their poor rebounding and made it a point of emphasis to improve today--and they did.  They are learning. 

They won't overlook next weekend's teams because 1) they probably got a dressing down for their discombobulated performance against UCSD, 2) the upperclassmen will want to get this weekend's taste out of their mouths, and 3) the youngsters are all going to want to show Tara how fast they can learn and how much they can do so as to earn playing time.

As for ranking--UCLA has Baylor and UConn next weekend.  C.al also gets UConn next weekend.  Oregon State has Votre Dame.  Will be interesting to see how they all do.  Maybe I missed something, but all the other powerhouses ranked higher than us are just squashing overmatched opponents so far--Ohio State and Louisville excepted.

Meanwhile, Lili aquitted herself quite well in Notr e Dame's beatdown of Mt. St. Mary's.  8 assists to 1 turnover, 10 points in 25 minutes starting.  I wish her well, and really would prefer not to meet Notr e Dame this year.
