I dont care about regular season analysis. Post season is different. Why do you think the Top 2 NFL teams in each conference get a bye? Because its a disadvantage? You EARN a bye post-season NFL.
SC didnt earn this bye. But they get it. And you can disagree on the amount of the advantage or even if it is one.
But dont you think the game should not have that as a potential issue? Whoever wins the North should be on the same footing as whoever wins the South. Its not particularly difficult to assure the regular season ends on the same weekend.
Frankly I dont get how there is an argument against this.
