I didn't get a chance to see the game, but kept track of it on my phone. Nice to see us expand the lead after three relatively tight quarters.
Looking at the stats, I saw we had another 20 turnovers with Alanna having 6.
For the season, we average 16 turnovers which is 160th in the nation.
Are we resigned to the fact that we are just a turnover-heavy team, or can we cut down on those errors? I feel like a decent chunk of those turnovers are unforced and yes, we play teams that look for the steal, but I feel like we often roll the dice too often. Or do we feel the need to make lower percentage passes into traffic?
I also seem to remember that opposing players often are able to poke the ball out of our hands when we pick up the dribble as well.
