Not that you asked for textual feedback, but I'm with Bos. I like the Tweets and images because there's nothing more to see - the videos and links you probably will want/need to click through anyway, and the embedded videos and embedded links take a long time to load, which causes the page to bounce around on my phone as the image load. They also take up a lot of visual space. I've basically stopped linking to URLs in-line because it makes the post hard to read.
The one other thing I'd love to limit is animated gifs. I find them extremely distracting and make it hard to read text. I don't know if that's possible, but there have been some threads where I can barely stay with them because of all the looping graphics bouncing around in my line of sight. Is there a way to limit them to one spin through before they stop looping? Or a cursor-over way to trigger them? I like that people can post them but in busy threads they can get out of hand.
