This article about Jones may have been posted when it was published in April - this quote is more reason for optimism:
“I think academics are very important for me and for all women in sports because we do not make as much money as the men do,” Jones said, “and we need to have a good degree so you can do something with it, because basketball doesn’t last forever.”
