It took Teevens several years to get Dartmouth on the right track after he arrived in 2005, but he finally built a pretty good program. In the last four seasons, Dartmouth has gone 29-11, with one Ivy championship and two second-place finishes.
Buddy was and is a nice guy. (At least as compared to Walt Harris) His primary problem at Stanford was the decision to do away with
the successful format created by Tyrone in the prior years. This combined with mediocre coaching ability was his downfall.
He (and Wlat) was also hurt by the reign of she who shall not be named as director of admissions. We had a lost decade until Harbaugh righted the ship and Richard Shaw fixed the admissions issues. It is probably worth mentioning that Shaw started at Stanford in 2005 and admitted his first class in 2006. We went to the Sun Bowl three years later.
