No way I drive to Paly, drive back to Marin and then to S.C. I’ve been attending games since 1953 and have no plans to fully retire. So after next year’s great home schedule I’m done. Stanford loses another season ticket holder and the schools and Scott pocket the cash and don’t give a damn.
The conference can stick it.
Ironically, because of Scott you will probably not miss out on anything by giving up your season tickets (other than the Tonga juice). It really is an issue of tradeoffs; I would have loved a TV deal that had Stanford on every week back when I lived in Boston (even though some of the games would have been on very late) and LA. Now that I'm in the Bay Area, only the availability of away games is a plus; but in order to accommodate TV, the games are at more inconvenient times, and the downside to not going is lower.
