Also, think of Nick Saban's dare during the Clemson game back in 2015. He wanted to flip the momentum and decided to take the risk at 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. I guess the fair catch rule didn’t have its intended effect, and “too many” kick offs are still being returned. I’m starting to agree with CT that if you really think kick offs are dangerous, then maybe the answer is to do away with them?
