I am only an occasional volleyball watcher, but this one was special. Nearly gave me cardiac arrest--such incredible momentum shifts especially with the contrasting 3rd and 4th sets.
I just had a feeling as the first set came to a close that the winner of the first set would somehow go on to win the match. Nebraska's defense was awesome--it seemed almost impossible at times to get anything to the ground. That statement that one of you made after we beat BYU that "good defense beats good offense" was running through my mind as we would sometimes take three or four swings and still wind up losing the point. But the run at the beginning of the fifth set seems to have been the momentum changer. What a great season and what an exciting finale!
