There is a difference between being offended and recognizing something as inappropriate, over the top, and/or misplaced.

I'm not offended by the drawings at all, but I do think they are misguided and reflect poorly on Stanford's Women Volleyball team. 

Agreed, and so I think Muir's apology was exactly right. 

Of course Nebraska fans looking for a moral victory and others who enjoy being outraged will yack endlessly about the picture on social media.

From what I saw on Twitter they were more upset about the replay call on Wilson’s ace.

I wasn’t following things earlier this year and was surprised to see that Lexi Sun had transferred from Texas to Nebraska, and without the need to sit out a year. She’s now 0-2 vs Stanford in the FF, but she has two more years to try to get revenge. 

I’m sure Nebraska will be back next year, and very motivated.
