I will echo the praise for the coaching. That was a phenomenal job of controlling Kalini Brown and Lauren Cox. It reminds me of the one game when Tara used Mikaela Ruef to shut down Griner (in Hawaii I believe?) This was actually more impressive. Of course I don't know what happened with Cox, but she played only 15 minutes.
As far as free throws, this is obviously a psychological issue and not a physical one. Any time Alanna can go 5-9 from three point range and 2-8 from free throw range you know it has to have something to do with focus and the mind playing mental tricks on itself.
