Wow. Possibly the most impressive game (offensively) in a very long time. The turnovers weren't great but the efficiency of the offense was impressive. We've seen Carrington have big games before but oddly they are usually in losing efforts. At times she seemed like she was doing everything on the court, making every 3 and then getting every rebound on the defensive end. I was also impressed by Dodson. Some monster blocks and offensive rebounds. Some nice athletic moves under the basket. And I think her defense has improved a lot. She is quick enough to defend on the perimeter. In the past I have worried about teams that can beat us with their athleticism but Dodson is a very nice counter to that as she is as athletic as anyone in the country. And I thought Brown showed composure and some nice aggression against Tennessee's active defense. But really kudos to Hull, Williams and Smith as well because they all had very good games. Am also excited to have Lexie and Marta back in January. I think Kiana could use a little rest so that we have her sharp in the 4th quarter and Marta is a good ball handler and passer. And unlike last year, she has far more three point shooters and scorers surrounding her.
