As for Brady. He is about done.

This take is funny. Brady's actually playing about as well as he did last year. It's just less obvious because:

1) The team around him is worse.
2) The other QBs in the league are better.

Brady appears to have declined on a relative basis, but his numbers are pretty similar (7.56 vs 7.37 ANY/A). Hell, he played worse in 2014 when they won the Super Bowl. It's certainly possible that his age is catching up to him in ways that are hard to quantify, but even then he's a top-5 PFF QB. So I'm not sure there's any reason to conclude anything about him now.

That's not to say that he definitely should get in over Luck, I don't really care and their numbers are pretty similar. Luck's a shoe-in as an alternate too, so it hardly matters.
