I seem to recall during UCF's bowl game that the near common knowledge discussion was that rehab would take a full year.   

Therefore Wimbush's transfer makes a lot of sense.   UCF is a good team with a one-year need for a QB.   

Not good for Stanford, but probably great for UCF and Wimbush.

That's what I remember also. The expectation was that Milton would redshirt in 2019.

this from Nov 27th would make me think it is unlikely he's back for the beginning of next season

However, a statement from the Milton family released on Tuesday through the Tampa General Hospital says that Milton is currently recovering from his injury. Although he sustained a damaged nerve in the process, the nerve remains intact. Additionally, blood flow through his right leg has been restored. Milton has yet to undergo reconstructive surgery for his knee, but that will be performed at a later date.
