If truly unknowing, there's an argument that they should be allowed to stay in. Remember from time to time there have been mistaken-admission incidents (e.g. Joe Schmoe getting another Joe Schmoe's acceptance), and generally, iirc, both Joe Schmoes get acceptance. You might feel there's a difference between a mix-up and intentional fraud, but I don't think it's a philosophically tenable one.
