Yes; marking starters for next year is all about tea leaves at this point. It's easy when a past starter returns. When it is an open position, then you have to look at if any returning players had any starts. Then, if none did, it is a subjective call. Both Kendall Williamson and Obi Eboh started one game last season. I'd been thinking that Williamson played more than Eboh last year, but I could be wrong on that score. Eboh had slightly better stats. Given the quote you reference, I agree with you that Eboh looks to be penciled in. I'll make the switch. Williamson will likely be the nickel back and will see lots of PT.

ILB is a hot mess. I actually do think marking Curtis Robinson as a starter make sense; they did not switch him to not play. Two years ago, IIRC, he was a larger contributor on defense than either Andrew Pryts or Ryan Beecher were last year, though admittedly at a different position. Robinson has two years of eligibility left; he thankfully regained his redshirt last year. (It was a mistake to burn it frosh year, IMO.) Maybe the future of the position will be Ricky Miezan and JMF, but I'll wager Robinson will be starting game one in 2019. The question is who will start with him at ILB. Will one of the sophs? Maybe so. For now, not enough evidence. I'll keep it Beecher for now since he has the most seniority.
