He wasn’t moved to DT, though, right? The tweet says “interior DL” but that doesn’t make sense.

I don’t know... if Sinclair moves out to safety, moving DiCosmo to OLB changes one gap for another. Generally our two-class haul at OLB is fine even if Herron is the only outside backer in his class (though that does upgrade the importance of getting more in the class of 2020).
Maybe I’m just a bit defensive about ILB’s after the gap

From OLBer to DL
What's the opposite of totally shocked?
Very good to see the clearly obviously needed move was made. Would love to know if Pakola is pushing other DEs in practices now. Seems like an exceptional athlete for a DE based on the high school evidence.
Yes, thank goodness. Sorely needed. Hoping DiCosmo slips out to OLB to fill the gap, provided the other 2 ILBs show enough promise.
In general I'd find it pretty hard for a true frosh DE to get significant PT, especially given the 4+ guys already entrenched at the position. We saw what happened with Horrible Harry as a freshman forced to play (and they were roughly the same size coming in). Thomas Booker, the exception, had about 20lbs on him at this stage. Now if he can push the other possible rotational guys (in likely order: Schaffer, Johnson, Peek, Boles?) that's certainly a win.
