Shaw continued: “I’m not quite ready to name five starters. We’ve had too many miss too much time to have a true evaluation. Henry Hattis will get back out there in the next couple of days and get more reps. He’s battling for a starting job at guard.”

“I’m excited about all the freshmen,” Shaw said. “A couple of guys are banged up, so we’ll rotate a couple of young guys with the starting group. They’re not perfect, but they are growing and learning. There is a chance, with our depth, that one or more could see some significant time throughout the season. Our job is to get them ready for that.”
