My first ever college game: November, 1957...Rutgers at Columbia, which the Lions unsurprisingly lost by 3 TDs. It was at Baker Field, high above the Hudson. Seemed like a big deal at the time.

My Dad attended Columbia on the GI Bill and spent the first half of his career working in the administration there.  I may have been at that same game as we regularly attended football games despite the mostly losing record.  I recall them as a great family experience.

Columbia football's only bowl game is a 7-0 victory over Stanford in the 1933 Rose Bowl.
