I don't think much about Shaw because I know he's not going anywhere. I hope with all my heart that he is still learning how to be a better head coach, because there remain significant issues.

Recruiting problems are not limited to OL. Our two starting ILBs are a converted OLB and a converted S. Our two starting safeties are converted CBs. SO that means there have been repeated recruiting failures at all three position groups over multiple years, in addition to just not recruiting enough players.

Shaw needs some new personnel on his staff. I hope he recognizes this and takes action after this season, but I worry that his stubbornness will get the better of him.
