Speaking for myself, I don't find much humor in the current situation.
Message to future coaches. When you have some success at Stanford you better get out because that success will be fleeting.
Message to recruits.Just because Stanford has been successful in the past doesn't mean it will be when you get there”.

Same applies to every recruit everywhere. Same for your message to coaches. Thanks for the recruiting help, the future card with elite backgrounds and futures don’t give a truck what you think. Thank goodness.

Thanks for setting me straight, though. Here I thought recruits read the Cardboard and took every word I said as though it were coming from the burning bush.

If recruits read ANY online message boards and took them as gospel, there wouldn't be college football anymore because all the schools would seem like bad choices. That's what message board fans do, no matter what the school. Hell, Bama boards were calling for Saban's firing after they lost that fantastic game to LSU last weekend.
