I don't see where the SEC, B1G, or B12 have had to make that compromise.
well they have made small compromises, and of course they have the advantage of having teams in the Eastern and Central time zones. The B1G and B12 do have games that start at 11am CT. The SEC has noon PT starts. So to get those time slots on TV we could have 9am kickoffs.....which given the dislike here for even 1pm kick-offs (I'm fine with 1pm kick-offs) and the poor turnout at the UCDavis (?) 11am kick-off (yes it was UCDavis so not necessarily representative of attendance at a desirable conference game) I don't think 9am games will be popular with ticket buyers, but who knows, the game would be over by 1pm and you could have the afternoon available for other activities....
