OK, I've never been to Arby's or Lawry's. Please explain.

Fast-food shaved RB sandwiches vs aged Prime Rib.  

IIRC Lawry’s used to host the “Beef Bowl” with both teams before the Rose Bowl. Do they still do that?

I believe they still do. For a while it was limited portions (they thought promoting gluttony was bad PR) but now it is back to all you can eat.
Been there a couple of times. Great Prime Rib. The best Prime Rib I have ever had, though, was Bully's in San Diego.

Bully’s? The sports bar in Mission Valley?  How many brewskis did you have before pronouncing their food “best ever?!”
