it also occurs to me that the pac-12 network and stanford media do a terrible job of promoting the marquee matchups of the last few years. if i recall correctly, stanford upset then #1 baylor with no tv or streaming coverage at all - not even a replay. the stanford-baylor match-up should get monster publicity, a brobdingnagian build-up; instead gets zero.

we could be replacing the hype of the old stanford-tennessee and stanford-uconn games with hype of the stanford-baylor game, but no one bothers.
