It seems Stephen Herron and Tristan Sinclair were held out to preserve redshirt eligibility; they can still play against ND and retain their shirts. Speaking of redshirts, I have reassigned the eligibility years of both Walker Little and Andres Fox given that they have used this year as their redshirt year, though that will likely not end up mattering in the case of Little, at least.
- TE Bradley Archer played in his second game on offense, and probably on ST. He got the first reception of the year, for zero yards.
- ILB Aeneas DiCosmo played in his third game, probably on D. He did not record a tackle.
- WR Elijah Higgins played on ST and on O as a blocking WR. He has played in in all eleven games this year, but has not yet had a ball thrown to him.
- OG Jake Hornibrook started at RG for the fifth time, playing in his sixth game of the season.
- RB Austin Jones carried the ball six times for 23 yards, and had two tackles. Austin has played in all eleven games this season.
- S Brock Jones, a former walk-on, played in his ninth game on ST, and recorded a tackle.
- S Spencer Jorgensen, a walk-on, played in his ninth game on ST, and did not record a tackle.
- CB Kyu Blu Kelly started at CB for the eighth week, and had two tackles; not his best game. He has played in all eleven games this season.
- CB Zahran Manley played in his seventh game of the season on ST and on D. He did not record a statistic.
- S Jonathan McGill played on defense as the starting NB for the eighth week. He had two tackles. He's played in all eleven games this season.
- OT Barrett Miller played in his tenth game of the season, starting at LG for the seventh time.
- RB Nathaniel Peat caught one ball for six yards, and returned a kick for 17 yards. He played in his eleventh game of the season.
- OT Walter Rouse started at LT for the tenth time. He has played in all eleven games this season.
- P Ryan Sanborn, a former walk-on, punted three times for a 32.7 (!) yard average, landing two inside the opponent's 20 yard line. He also kicked two clutch FG (48 and 44 yards) without a miss, and handled four kickoffs with two of them going for touchbacks. He's played in all eleven games.
Quick comments as usual :)
DiCosmo did not play on D - Robinson and Pryts went the whole way. DiCosmo and Austin Jones share #20, and I think both of Jones' credited tackles were actually DiCosmo on STs...Jones doesn't play on kickoff or punt cover team.
Hard to be upset at Sanborn's average when we punted in Cal territory twice.
