What would give anyone any reason to think they will beat the Redskins next week?

Because they're the Redskins?

And the Giants are actually worse. The Giants hosted the Packers and lost 31-13. The Redskins played at Lambeau the following week and only lost 20-15.  The Eagles needed OT to beat the team right now on track to pick #2 in the NFL Draft. The Redskins could certainly beat the Eagles.

I'm rooting for a 7-9 NFC East Champion, but it will probably be more like 8-8. Hard to see the Cowboys beating the Rams this week, but easy to see them beating the Eagles and Redskins the last two weeks.
